RTD Title VI Policy Statement
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states that “no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” San Joaquin RTD is committed to complying with the requirements of Title VI in all of its programs and activities.

Filing a Title VI Complaint
Persons who believe they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with San Joaquin RTD. For information on filing a complaint, contact San Joaquin RTD’s Administrative Office. Complaints must be in writing and must be filed within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
