Who prepares the ACFR?

What is the Goal of the ACFR?
The goal of ACFR is better financial reporting. RTD is required to undergo an annual audit in conformity with the provision of the Single Audit Act, U.S. Office of Management, and Budget Circular A-133 as it pertains to audits of state and local governments. State law requires that RTD publish a completed audited financial statement within six months of the close of the fiscal year in conformity with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of certified public accountants licensed to practice in the State of California.
