DESCRIPTION:This race is a tribute to the brave men and women who bore the weight of the badge with honor every time they put on their uniform. They carried the immense responsibility of protecting our community\, and some made the ultimate sacrifice—laying down their lives in service to others. \nWe will never forget their dedication\, their courage\, or the families they left behind. Their sacrifice is one we can never repay\, but we will always honor. \nThis year\, we pay special tribute to Officer Arthur P. Parga\, who gave his life in the line of duty in January 1993.
