REASONABLE MODIFICATION & ACCOMMODATION REQUEST

 

 

 

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for the residents of the San Joaquin region – including individuals who may need special accommodation or modification.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), RTD will make reasonable modifications and accommodations to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination, and to ensure accessibility to customers with disabilities.

Customers requesting a modification or accommodation must be as specific as possible and include information explaining the need for the requested modification in order to use RTD’s services.

Requests for modification must be made by submitting a formal, written letter or by completing the Reasonable Modification Request Form. The form can also be obtained at the Downtown Transit Center (421 East Weber Ave, Stockton, CA 95202).

The formal letter or completed request form may be emailed to mobility@sanjoaquinrtd.com or printed out and mailed to:

The Mobility Department will notify the customer of its decision by mail within 30 days of receipt of the request.
